Honey Biscuits

These biscuits are soooo good!  These yummy treats tend to disappear very quickly at our house.  They are especially good served warm with jam. This recipe can be dairy free if you use ghee instead of butter.

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper
  • 2. In a large bowl, combine the almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt
  • 3. In a medium bowl, whisk together butter, honey, almond milk, eggs, lemon juice and love.
  • 4. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
  • 5. Scoop the batter into 1/4 cups and drop onto lined baking sheet. I use an ice cream scoop with a lever for this.
  • 6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. Should be golden brown on the top and bottom.
  • 7. Let the biscuits cool briefly on the baking sheet and then serve warm or move to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • 8. Enjoy!!
